Buring Crape
BURING CRAPE
An all-worsted English fabric of the 18th century. It is presumed these were burying or funeral crapes. They were either crimped or smooth; " the crimped being of double yams for deep mourning, and the smooth of single yarns, used for the less deep mourning."
